From September - June we are open Wednesday - Saturday and most public holidays (*see note below).
We close the farm gate during the cold Winter months to allow our girls to rest and care for them and their babies during our annual kidding season.
Open by appointment at other times - please phone (03) 5725 1759 to confirm arrangements.
We are happy to host behind the scenes tours and tastings for groups (by prior arrangement). The cost is $10 per person, with $5 cash back on any cheeses purchased on the day.
***Important Note - Opening Hours***
Please check our Facebook page (@tolpuddlecheese) for any changes to our opening hours. We are a small family business with young, active kids and at times life gets in the way of opening the farm gate to visitors.
Each week we supply cheese to our wholesale customers and attend farmers markets locally and in Melbourne. If we do not have enough produce available to also open the farm gate for cheese tastings and sales, we have to close.
To avoid any inconvenience, please check our Facebook page for announcements or give us a call on 03 5725 1759 to confirm that we will be open when you plan to visit.
Farm Open Days
Farm Open Days give visitors, friends and followers of Tolpuddle the opportunity to experience life on the farm.
Aside from tasting our range of hand-made goat cheeses, there' s an opportunity to wander around the property, interact with all of our furry and feathered friends and discover what makes our cheeses special!
Donovan leads guided tours throughout the day, so you can tag along and feed the animals, meet the milkers, chat about our farming practices, have a pat and maybe even a cuddle with one of the kids.
With live music, a kids play area, gourmet food and wine tasting there's plenty of good reasons to come and play!
